As musician, producer and bandleader, Simon's talents have been the catalyst behind many projects. In the Eighties he put together the trailblazing jazz/soul outfit Working Week. After producing world artists like Manu Dibango and Baaba Maal, he founded The Afro-Celt Sound System, whose music fused two hemispheres. The Imagined Village is the outcome of several years' work.
